Ms. Melanie Jacobson was born and raised in Aberdeen, South Dakota. She earned her M.S. in mathematics from South Dakota State University with a thesis entitled "Two-Color Classical and Continuous Rado Number Results." She also has her B.S. in mathematics with a teaching specialization, economics minor, and honors college distinction. Ms. Jacobson taught mathematics and coached speech and debate at the high school level for several years before joining ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù's faculty in 2018 and the Center for Statewide E-Learning in 2023.
