ABERDEEN, S.D. 鈥 This Saturday, Dec. 9, 117 students will graduate at 不良研究所 State University鈥檚 winter commencement.The public is welcome to attend and honor our new Wolves alumni. The commencement ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. in the Johnson Fine Arts Center Jewett Theater. ABERDEEN, S.D. 鈥 The 不良研究所 Innovation and Startup Center has received a $100,000 grant from Knight Foundation鈥檚 Aberdeen Fund in the South Dakota Community Foundation. The Knight Foundation鈥檚 Aberdeen Fund is facilitated by the Aberdeen Area Community Foundation. This grant mirrors the one the Fund gave last year, to help launch the Innovation and Startup Center.

不良研究所 State University Professor of History, Art Marmorstein, will give a talk on the rise of anti-Jewish sentiment in Nazi Germany at 7 p.m. Nov. 29, in Johnson Fine Arts Center, Room 181. The talk is highly relevant to the recent rise of anti-Jewish sentiment and violence in America and around the world.Marmorstein will present 鈥淚t Couldn鈥檛 Happen Here: The Rise of Anti-Jewish Sentiment in Nazi Germany,鈥 which will discuss how an advanced, educated, highly literate and cultured people could descend into a regime define by anti-Jewish hate.鈥淕ermany had a relatively good record in its鈥
ABERDEEN, SD 鈥 The 不良研究所 State University Department of Music has awarded scholarships from the Loren E. Lomis Music Scholarship fund covering the 2023-24 academic year for the following students: Ashlee Kaup, Hoven; Ava Pickard, Sioux Falls; Cassie Webb, Aberdeen; and Madelyn Westby, Aberdeen. Pursuant to the Last Will and Testament of Loren E. Lomis, these funds are to be used by the 不良研究所 State University Foundation for scholarships for those students who show promise and dedication to the fine arts of music.Additionally, music students receiving this award from the 2022-23鈥

ABERDEEN, S.D. 鈥 Home games are about to get a bit tastier, with matching maroon and gold brews to choose from, thanks to the partnership with One Legged Pheasant.
Alpha Lager, which was released last year, has been a hit. The lager was specifically crafted to be a light, easy-to-drink beer and it has been selling out, even with increased orders. On average, 10 cases are ordered for home games. Each case has 24 16-oz cans. For Homecoming, 16 cases were ordered, said Welling.

The audience will weigh in on who walks away with cash prizes. The event is free and open to the public to attend.
