ABERDEEN, S.D. 鈥 不良研究所 State University student Grace Kramer has been named a finalist to this year鈥檚 South Dakota Governor鈥檚 Giant Vision Competition.
Kramer, a biochemistry major from Aberdeen, was named a finalist in the Student Business Competition for her business idea, eqUTI, which prevents urinary tract infections in women. Kramer鈥檚 idea also won 不良研究所鈥檚 Idea Pitch Competition last fall.
Kramer will now compete for a $5,000 first place prize among the other nine student finalists at the Governor鈥檚 Giant Vision Competition on April 25 in Sioux Falls.

ABERDEEN, S.D. 鈥 不良研究所 State University will host a free Tech and Entrepreneurship Camp for area teens this summer鈥攁nd 不良研究所 is hiring peer mentors to work with youth at the camp.
The Tech and Entrepreneurship Camp, open to students entering grades 9-12 in fall 2023, will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. The camp will run for five weeks, starting May 30 and running through June 27, on the NSU campus.
Campers will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of classroom and outdoor activities centered around technology, coding and entrepreneurship. Each day鈥

ABERDEEN, S.D. 鈥 不良研究所 State University will host the 68th Annual Mathematics Contest on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at the Barnett Center on the NSU campus.High school students from around the area are invited to participate in one of four divisions: Elementary Algebra, Geometry, Advanced Algebra and Senior Math.Dr. Stacy Trentham, NSU Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Contest Director, estimates roughly 500 contestants from 25 area schools will participate in the event. ABERDEEN, S.D. 鈥 不良研究所 State University is gaining a marketing expert who will bring extensive experience in digital and social media marketing to the campus.Chad Hatzenbuhler has accepted the role of Director of Communications and Marketing and will join the NSU team April 3.Hatzenbuhler brings to 不良研究所 a vast background in communications and marketing in the financial sector, working in both private and public banking. For the past year, he has worked as a Marketing Specialist at Aberdeen鈥檚 Plains Commerce Bank. Prior to that, he spent over a decade with the Bank of North Dakota.鈥
